ECE-350: Professional Expression

ECE-350 is a course for graduating engineers.  The class focuses on resume preparation, interviewing, career seeking, and career maintenance.  However, a major portion of the class is dedicated to a final project which was to create a proposal for a device that converts harmonica audio into a MIDI signal.  As a team of five, we created a design for a practical device that converts any audio, in general, to a MIDI signal.  The heart of the project was done in approximately two weeks, but results were impressive and the design is researched enough to be patented.

Although the project was not a competition, our design presented no areas of hidden costs and covered many practical circumstances that other teams did not consider.
